WELCOME TO SKATE KINGSTON!

Registration for Summer STARSkate is coming!  NOTE:  All SK Summer skating ice is DROP-IN only.  In order to ensure you get the ice times you want, you must sign up for individual days.  

• SK Home Club Youth (under 20 years of age) Skaters: Monday May 25th @ 7 pm.  Registration will close temporarily prior to Non-Home Club registration.
• Non-Home Club Youth (under 20 years of age) Skaters: MUST HAVE PRIOR SK BOARD PERMISSION:  Sunday May 31st @ 7 pm. 
• Adult Home Club STARSkaters:  Access to youth programming will be determined following Non-Home Club Youth registration with board approval and based on skater numbers. Please email skatekingstoninfo@gmail.com to request approval.

UPDATE: Drop-In/Guest Skating Policy

NOTE:  There is no drop-in/guest skating opportunities on any morning (6 am) ice until after registration closes. Also note that all morning ice is reserved for youth skaters only.

Drop-In skating for SK home club skaters:

• SK Home Club skaters can now register to drop-in for a session they qualify for.  
  • This does NOT apply to Adult skaters who have been approved to skate on youth ice.  Each Adult skater must request board permission to skate on a youth ice session, even if just for drop-in.
• The SK Directors have agreed to monitor drop-in skating.  Skaters not registered appropriately for a drop-in session will be asked to leave.
• Drop-in registration MUST be completed before the start of the session.

Drop-In Guest skating for Non-Home club skaters: 

• All current Non-Home club skaters must request board approval (via their coach) for permission to skate as a guest skater for drop-in opportunities.  Requests can be sent to skatekingstoninfo@gmail.com, and must be provided at least 7 days before the requested guesting skating date.
• The board, in consultation with our Directors, will review each request.
• Skaters who have been approved in this scenario will be required to review the SK ice-etiquette policy prior to stepping on the ice.
• As above, once approved, drop-in registration MUST be completed before the start of the session.
